Tonight Steve and I headed out to the Warrior banquet for our group at the base. It was a great night out with some friends. It was also our first time to have a babysitter. I know, I know…Jackson had a babysitter when he was about 7 months old when I was taking some summer classes. Since moving to Okinawa we have had my sister here to help us out and great friends we haven’t had a need for a babysitter. We wanted to try out a new girl who moved in across the street. Jackson was so excited and I was a bit surprised. Jackson had a list of things that he wanted to do when she came over. ha ha!!!

This picture isn’t want I had in my head…it turned out better than what I had planned for. People with curly hair know all about the “scrunch”. Excuse the grandma wallpaper that we have in the bathroom…it is what you get when you rent. I guess the Japanese think this is what all American’s like. 🙂

Since having Meridian (and now especially Evie) my hair has gotten very wavy and ungainly – I’m having to learn about “the scrunch” after having stick-straight hair for my whole life! Well, with the exception of that time your mom permed it for me. 🙂
